Karlie Kloss left no doubt who she voted for when she shared a picture of herself with her ballot on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old supermodel shared two images on Instagram this afternoon, in which she held her ballot in the envelope while wearing a face mask with the Joe Biden and Kamala Harris campaign logo on it.
What is your voting plan? This was mine – signed, sealed, (notarized) and delivered ✅, ” she wrote in the mail.
Karlie added the hashtags ‘#voteBLUE’ to show her support for the Democratic Party, and ‘#scienceoverfiction’, referring to the party’s claim that Donald Trump’s response to the coronavirus was more influenced by his re-election struggle than it was advice from scientists.
The confirmation of her vote for the Democratic ticket is likely to lead to some friction with her husband Josh Kushner’s family.
Josh is the younger brother of Jared Kushner, who is married to Ivanka Trump, the president’s oldest daughter. Both Ivanka and Jared are also senior White House assistants.

Rather than entrusting her ballot to the United States Postal Service, which faced major delays this summer due to cost-cutting changes instituted by Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, Karlie opted to deliver it in person.
The 6ft2in catwalk star was casually dressed in a charcoal gray long-sleeved polo shirt and black pants. She added a pair of black heels to her ensemble and had her blonde locks swept back.
Karlie also included a close-up of herself and her completed ballot paper.

Kloss and venture capitalist Josh Kushner got married in 2018, after spending more than six years together. Despite his brother’s deep-seated role in Trump’s reelection strategy, Josh is also reportedly a Democrat.
Karlie previously supported the former vice president and appeared at an event in September to support him with the organization STEAM, which aims to spread awareness for educating people in science, technology, engineering, art and math .
“For those who know Karlie, this event makes a lot of sense,” said an insider People at that moment.
“She cares deeply about the future of women at STEAM and has always supported candidates who face the issues she is passionate about.”
Last week, Karlie also hosted a grassroots event for Democratic nominee for Missouri Governor Nicole Galloway, alongside fellow Missouri-born TV host Andy Cohen.
In an Instagram post prior to the event, she wrote, “It’s never been more important to turn states into blue – including my home state of Missouri.”

Karlie has been clear in the past that she does not mix politics with family, even though the criticism of their ideological differences has been ‘difficult’.
“I choose to focus on the values that I share with my husband, which are the same liberal values that I grew up with and that have guided me all my life,” she told British Vogue in 2019.
Josh, 35, made a similar comment to Forbes in 2017: “It’s no secret that liberal values have guided my life and that I have supported political leaders who share similar values.”
He added that he thought ‘it’s important to be open-minded and learn from different opinions’, and said he and his brother still talk every day.
In 2016, Karlie openly expressed support for then-Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton when she rallied against Trump.
One of the greatest privileges we have as Americans is a vote. I’m proud to say I’ve done my part, now it’s your turn, ‘she wrote along with the hashtag’ #ImWithHer. ‘
She told Andy Cohen in a podcast earlier this year that she ‘voted for Democrat in 2016’ and ‘I plan to do the same in 2020’.
Still at it: Speaking to Vogue UK in 2018, Karlie complained that checking her marriage was ‘difficult’ but she’s trudging on

In June, writer and actress Tavi Gevinson targeted Karlie for failing to expose Jared and Ivanka more forcefully.
She made her fierce criticism in the comments of a mild post Karlie shared on Instagram about how to fight racism inspired by George Floyd’s death in police custody.
“Karlie, leave it alone,” Tavi wrote in exasperation. “ You have a lot of guts to put on a show promoting girl coding and your family in public (lame @ you ignore ivanka on social media; she still went to your wedding), ” she wrote.
“ I can’t believe you’re not embarrassed anymore, not just by them, but by YOUR decision to publicly disavow their politics only in a polite way so you can do it both ways.
In a follow-up comment, she tagged Joshua and suggested “ growing a backbone. ”
I Don’t Have It: Tavi Gevinson, 24, denounced Karlie on Instagram in June for her ties to Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump after sharing a mild post about fighting racism
